Description
The successor to the long-running Hyper-Dash 2 Motor, the Hyper-Dash 3 is pitched as a balanced high-power option — strong enough for speed but built to hold up over a race weekend rather than burning out quickly. It runs on 2.4-3.0V and is rated for general use across Mini 4WD cars. Its 17,200-21,200 RPM band sits well above the Tuned-2 series motors in Tamiya's current line-up (the Torque-Tuned 2 and Atomic-Tuned 2 top out in the 14,000-15,000 range), reflecting the Dash line's speed-first character versus the Tuned line's torque and acceleration focus. Tamiya's chassis-compatibility listing for this motor spans Type 3 through Super TZ-X, VS and AR/VZ Chassis, covering both classic rear-motor machines and the current front-motor chassis family alike, which is typical for a general-fitment Grade-Up motor rather than a PRO-only unit.
