Tamiya Rear Skid Roller Set(15520)

A rear roller set aimed at stability rather than cornering. The rear skid roller acts on slope entries and other situations where the front of the car lifts, helping keep the car settled instead of tipping or veering. The stay parts are molded in a tinted smoke-colored polycarbonate, paired with low-friction white POM 8mm rollers.

Unlike a car's cornering rollers, which run against the side of the track's guide rails, a skid roller is oriented to contact the track surface itself, so it only comes into play when the front of the chassis lifts, such as on a jump's takeoff or a slope crest. Tamiya illustrates the part fitted to both the FM-A chassis, including mounted to its underside, and the MS chassis, since the two have different underbody layouts calling for different mounting points for the same hardware.
