As the car leans in a corner, the roller contacts the lane wall and rolls against it rather than scraping, helping keep the chassis tracking straight. The rollers are molded in low-friction plastic and can be paired with separately sold 520 ball bearings or bearing roller spacers for a further reduction in rolling resistance. Small mounting parts and a wrench are included.
The name specifies "13-13mm" because unlike Tamiya's related item 15525 and item 15457, both stepped 13-12mm double rollers, this version keeps the same 13mm diameter on both sections, giving flush, uniform wall contact rather than a stepped edge. It's aimed at the rear because that's where a car most needs help resisting a lane-wall slide out of a corner, rather than the front, where rollers are more about steering into the turn.
