This set pairs carbon fiber-reinforced Y-spoke wheels with super hard, small-diameter low-profile tires (26mm), four of each. The wheels' rigidity helps them hold their shape under load, while the tires are harder and lower grip than the kit-standard parts, which translates into less speed lost through corners and less bounce after landing from jumps. Tires and wheels are both black. The set fits Mini 4WD and Mini 4WD PRO cars, though some bodies or chassis may need modification.
The Y-spoke wheel design sets this set apart from the Fin wheels paired with the standard low-friction 26mm tire (15534) and the 3-spoke wheels used on the 24mm sets (15541, 15543); the tire itself steps up from that low-friction 26mm compound to a super-hard one for even less grip. As a listed grade-up part it spans nearly every Tamiya chassis generation, from Type 3 through Super-II, VS, VZ and ME.

The Super II is the modern take on a classic layout: simple, tough and widely supported. A clear tuning baseline, and its realistic limits too.
The Mini 4WD Super X chassis and its wider XX sibling are rigid and roomy. How to tune both, and when that extra width genuinely helps you race.
