Description
DCR-02 continues the DCR body concept introduced by the DCR-01, also designed by Takayuki Yamazaki. Its yellow ABS body is built from three separate components — front cowl, rear cowl and rear wing — which can be mixed and matched with parts from other DCR-02 kits, and the front and rear cowls are also cross-compatible with the DCR-01. Metallic stickers are included for body decoration.
The MA (Midship AERO) chassis here is moulded in gun-metal grey with yellow A-parts, running a 3.5:1 gear ratio on Y-spoke wheels with low-profile tires. The motor is centred in the car, with six low-friction rollers, a rear skid bar and a single-piece monocoque frame underneath.
