Beyblade X Collector vs Player Guide
Collecting Beyblade X and competing with it pull spending in different directions, and being clear about which you are doing saves money.
Collectors buy complete
Collecting favours boxed, unopened, visually distinctive releases, kept out of play and out of sunlight. Condition and completeness are what matter, and battling actively destroys both.
Players buy parts
Competing favours whichever Ratchet and Bit combination performs, regardless of which box it came in. Players end up with a small number of heavily used parts rather than a broad collection.
Do not mix the two
The common mistake is battling with pieces intended for display, then being unhappy about the scratches. Keep a separate set of working parts and accept that they are consumables.
Both are legitimate
There is no correct answer here, only an expensive muddle if you do not decide. Choose which you are optimising for and buy accordingly.
