Beyblade X Competitive Preparation
Turning up prepared is most of competitive Beyblade X. The players who do well have usually decided everything before they arrive.
Know the format
Find out whether it is deck battles or single beys, single or double elimination, and what the scoring is. Preparing for the wrong format wastes all the preparation.
Test against the local field
Practise against the kinds of combos you expect to face rather than whatever you own. If the local scene favours attack builds, your deck needs an answer to attack builds.
Check every part
Inspect Bits, Blade edges and Ratchet locks the night before. Replace anything marginal then, not in the queue on the day.
Pack properly
Deck, spare launcher, spare Bits, cloth, and the parts you might swap to. Write a list once and reuse it.
