Beyblade X Deck Set Guide
A Deck Set is a box of three Beyblade X tops built for 3-on-3 (deck) battle, not a Starter and not a Customize Set. The original Japan reference is BX-08 3-on-3 Deck Set, launched with the X line on 15 July 2023 at ¥3,960: three beys, stadium and launcher sold separately. The Basic Line also had deck boxes of its own — BX-20 DranDagger and BX-21 HellsChain, both 2 November 2023. Later Unique Line and Custom Line deck boxes follow the same idea — UX-07 Phoenix Rudder, UX-15 Shark Scale, UX-21 Hells Nether, CX-11 Emperor Might — with their own parts lists. Official 3-on-3 formats typically ban repeating a single part across the three beys. Confirm that rule with the organiser; the box does not override it.
What you get, and what you still have to buy
| Box | Line | Japan date (line-up) | Launcher in the box? |
|---|---|---|---|
| BX-08 3-on-3 Deck Set | BX | 15 Jul 2023 | No — stadium and launcher separate |
| UX-07 Phoenix Rudder Deck Set | UX | 10 Aug 2024 | Check that row; do not assume BX-08’s policy |
| UX-15 Shark Scale Deck Set | UX | 9 Aug 2025 | Check that row |
| CX-11 Emperor Might Deck Set | CX | 1 Nov 2025 | Check that row |
| UX-21 Hells Nether Deck Set | UX Expand | 8 Aug 2026 | Check that row — our UX-21 page covers the three tops |
BX-08’s official note is explicit: you need a Beyblade X stadium and launcher sold separately. Other deck boxes can include a launcher; read the product page, not this table, on the day you buy. A Customize Set (UX-10) is a parts pool, not three ready beys. A Starter is one combo plus a launcher. See starter vs booster and Customize Set U.
Why three beys, not three of the same job
Deck battle is first to a point total across rounds, with the option to swap which of your three is on the table. An all-attack three dies to one stamina wall; three stamina tops give away Xtreme Finishes. The shape that keeps showing up — lead attacker, stamina or defence anchor, counter-pick — is what the World Championship deck and beginner three-deck pages teach. A Deck Set is supposed to hand you that shape out of the box. It only does if the three printed combos actually use different Blades, Ratchets and Bits. Open the diagram and check for repeats before you assume the box is event-legal as sold.
No-repeat is a ruleset, not a sticker on the carton
If two of the three share a 3-60 or a Ball Bit, you must rebuild before a format that bans repeated parts. CX Assist Blades count: two Jaggy rings are a repeat. UX Expand Blades that fuse the Ratchet still count as that Blade. Organisers decide identity, not the shop photo. Left-spin pieces inside a deck (Cobalt Dragoon, Meteor Dragoon) need a left launcher even if the other two are right-spin.
Buying and event checks
Match the product code (BX-08, UX-15, UX-21, CX-11), not the words “deck set.” Replica three-packs are not those SKUs. Recheck each official row for yen MSRP, date and whether a launcher is included. Play only in a Beyblade X stadium. For how a finished three-bey structure scores, see scoring.
Frequently asked questions
Does the BX-08 3-on-3 Deck Set come with a stadium and launcher?
No. BX-08, launched with the X line on 15 July 2023 at ¥3,960, is three beys, with the stadium and launcher sold separately. Other deck boxes can include a launcher, so read the product page for the specific set on the day you buy rather than assuming BX-08's policy.
Which Beyblade X Deck Sets have been released?
Beyond the original BX-08, the line includes BX-20 DranDagger and BX-21 HellsChain (both 2 Nov 2023), UX-07 Phoenix Rudder (10 Aug 2024), UX-15 Shark Scale (9 Aug 2025), CX-11 Emperor Might (1 Nov 2025) and UX-21 Hells Nether (8 Aug 2026), each with its own parts list. Match the product code, not the words "deck set" — replica three-packs are not those SKUs.
Can the three beys in a Deck Set share parts?
Official 3-on-3 formats typically ban repeating a single part across the three beys, and the box does not override that rule. If two of the three share a 3-60 or a Ball Bit you must rebuild before such a format, and CX Assist Blades count too — two Jaggy rings are a repeat.
Do I need a special launcher for a deck containing Cobalt Dragoon?
Yes. Left-spin pieces inside a deck, such as Cobalt Dragoon or Meteor Dragoon, need a left launcher even if the other two beys are right-spin. Deck battle is first to a point total across rounds with the option to swap which of your three is on the table.
