Beyblade X Defense Build Guide
A defence combo has one job: survive the opponent's opening rush, then win on what is left. It is the least dramatic build and often the most reliable.
Heavy, smooth Blades
Defence Blades are rounded with weight concentrated at the rim, which lets them deflect a strike rather than absorbing it into a burst. Smooth profiles give an attacker nothing to catch on.
Stay central and low
A low Ratchet and a stable Bit keep the bey near the middle of the stadium, away from the rail and away from the walls. An attacker that cannot land a clean hit runs out of spin trying.
Weight is your friend
Defence is the one role where the heaviest available parts are usually the right answer. Mass resists being moved, and being hard to move is the entire point of the build.
Defence is not passive
A good defensive combo still needs to be launched deliberately toward the centre. Drifting to the wall hands an attacker the angle it wants and undoes the whole build.
