Beyblade X X-Over Project Guide

X-Over Project is Takara Tomy’s name for Beyblade X releases that restyle classic franchise Blades onto the current three-part X stack. They use BX-00 (and occasional UX-00) codes rather than the main BX-01 sequence. They are Beyblade X products: Blade, Ratchet and Bit, X stadium only. They are not Burst parts, not plastic-generation parts, and not Expand Blade. The official line-up lists each one as a “Beyblade X version” of a named classic.

Two worked examples

BX-00 Dranzer Spiral 3-80T launched on the same day as the original X line, 15 July 2023, as a ¥1,600 booster. Official copy: a Bakuten Shoot Beyblade classic in X form, a balance-minded mix of attack and stamina parts. Stock 3-80T is three protrusions at 8.0 mm with a Taper Bit — readable with the same decoder as BX-01. BX-00 Storm Pegasis 3-70RA is much later, 11 July 2026, a ¥2,620 Starter with a special-colour string launcher. Official copy: Metal Fight Beyblade’s Storm Pegasis as an X Attack type, upper-shaped Blade plus the Rubber Accel Bit meant to knock the opponent out. Both pages warn not to mix them with other series, including Burst.

The same BX-00 pattern covers Driger Slash, Lightning L-Drago, Draciel Shield, Dragoon Storm, Rock Leone, Storm Spriggan and the 25th anniversary set, among others. Xeno Xcalibur is also a BX-00 X-over of a Burst-era name, still an X Blade. Do not treat the list above as complete or currently in stock — read the live official line-up. Hasbro may skip, delay or rename these. A replica “Dranzer style” listing is not BX-00 Dranzer Spiral 3-80T.

How they play, without nostalgia ranking

Once assembled, an X-Over Project top is a Beyblade X combo. You swap Ratchets and Bits the usual way. You do not get Burst-era layers, discs or drivers, and you do not get a Burst stadium. Left-spin classics such as Lightning L-Drago still need a left launcher on X. Storm Pegasis 3-70RA is a standard three-part X Starter with a classic name, not a Ratchet-integrated Expand piece. If a listing uses both “X-Over” and “Expand” as flavour text, ignore the flavour and read the product code and parts list. Confirm stadium, spin direction and organiser eligibility the same way as any other X release.
