Beyblade X Ratchet Height Guide

Ratchet height is written as the second number in a Ratchet's name, and it decides where your Blade sits relative to your opponent's.

Reading the number

A 1-60 Ratchet has a 6.0mm height; a 9-70 has a 7.0mm height. The notation omits the decimal point, so “60” does not mean 60mm. Most Beyblade X Ratchets cluster in a narrow band, but even a few millimetres can change which surfaces meet during a hit.

Above or below

A taller Ratchet lets your Blade strike down onto the opponent, which is what an attacker usually wants. A shorter one slips your Blade underneath, which can lift an opponent or simply avoid their contact points entirely.

Test against real opponents

Height is matchup-dependent, so testing it in isolation tells you little. Run the same combo at two heights against the opponent you actually expect to face, and let the result decide.

Weight comes with height

Ratchet mass varies by design, so do not assume that a taller Ratchet is heavier. If a swap improves things, compare the actual part weight as well as the height and contact geometry.
