A string launcher uses a pull cord rather than a ratcheting winder. It is a common option for players who prefer its feel and longer pull, but launcher choice is personal and the package must be compatible with the bey.

What it can change

A string launcher can make it easier for some players to produce a strong, repeatable launch. Actual spin and battle results depend on the launcher, the player's technique, the bey and the stadium; a string launcher is not an automatic performance upgrade.

Consistency is the real gain

Repeatability comes from practice. Once you have a stable grip and stance, use the same launch approach during testing so that you can distinguish a combo change from normal variation.

Looking after the string

The string is a wear part. Check it for fraying, keep it clean, and let it retract smoothly rather than snapping back. Replace damaged equipment and follow the manufacturer's care instructions.
