A pair, with wheel bushes fitted, weighs around 14g more than Tamiya's standard resin low-height "fin" wheels — extra mass low on the chassis that lowers the car's overall center of gravity, improves stability, and makes it less prone to bouncing off the track. Because they can be fitted to just the front or just the rear axle, they also let builders fine-tune front/rear weight balance, and running them reversed lets them fit X and XX chassis. Replacement bushes are sold separately as AO-1035 (white, 8 pieces); very hard tires such as low-friction compounds can be tight to seat on the rim.
