Beyblade X Bit Height Guide

The Bit is the small part locked into the bottom of the Ratchet, and it is the only part of a Beyblade X combo that actually touches the stadium floor. Its height and tip shape decide how a combo moves, how well it resists bursting, and whether it can reach the raised outer ring of an X-series stadium — the "Xtreme Line" — to trigger an Xtreme Dash. Because the Bit is the last link in the height chain, a change here affects the combo the same way a change to the Ratchet does, just from the other end.

Flat and Low Flat: the attack end

Flat (F) is the broad, flat-tipped Bit that shows up on most Attack-oriented combos, and it has a reputation for comparatively strong burst resistance for an attack tip. Low Flat (LF) is a more aggressive version of the same idea — roughly 1mm shorter than standard Flat — and that extra bit of lowered clearance is specifically what lets a combo catch the Xtreme Line and launch into an Xtreme Dash. The trade-off is real: LF gives up stamina and durability compared to F, so it is a tip you choose for a specific move, not a default upgrade.

Point and High Needle: stamina and defense

At the other end of the lineup, Point (P) is a narrow, low-friction tip built for high-Stamina Blades; it holds up well in the endgame and is considered by some players to be the strongest non-Attack Bit short of Taper (T). High Needle (HN) is a sharper, conical Defense-leaning Bit that trades some raw stamina for strong knock-out resistance — it's the Bit shipped on Knight Lance 4-80HN, for example.
