Beyblade X Jolt Bit Guide

Jolt is the Bit letter J. The official reference release that prints it as stock is UX-17 Meteor Dragoon 3-70J, a Unique Line left-spin Starter listed in Japan on 27 December 2025 at ¥2,300, with a left winder launcher in the box. Takara Tomy’s UX-17 page describes the Blade and the left-spin job; it does not publish a millimetre height chart for Jolt itself. What “middle ground” means in the stadium

Attack Bits such as Flat and Rush want a wide, fast contact patch and burn spin to get there. Stamina Bits such as Ball and Orb want a small, low-friction patch and stay central. Jolt is the Bit you reach for when you want the launch to stand up and move without committing to a full Rush dash or a full Ball plant. That is a behaviour description from how the tip is used, not an official stat line. There is no Takara Tomy table that says Jolt is “X millimetres” or “Y gears.” If a seller lists gear count or a height in millimetres, treat it as secondary until you can see the part.

Where it ships, and what that does not prove

Stock on UX-17 does not mean Jolt is left-spin-only. Bits swap across right-spin Blades the usual way. Using Jolt on a right-spin attacker is a rebuild, not the official combo. Later products can reprint J as stock; check the Bit letter in the box, not the word Jolt on a blog. Hasbro naming, if it appears, may keep J or spell the tip out; match the letter.

How to test it

Take one Blade and Ratchet you already know. Run Flat or Rush as the control, then Jolt, same launch, same stadium, same opponent. You are looking for whether the combo still reaches the rail, whether it stays upright after the first hit, and whether it dies of friction before the opponent does. Change only the Bit. Event notes

Jolt is a distinct part from Flat, Rush and Kick. Deck-repeat rules count it once. Organiser lists can restrict new Bits in the first months after a release; UX-17 itself is left-spin and needs a left launcher, but a spare Jolt Bit on a right-spin combo does not. Play only in a Beyblade X stadium. Replica “Jolt style” tips are not the UX-17 part.
