Beyblade X Wizard Arc Guide
Wizard Arc is product code CX-02, one of the three Custom Line tops that launched CX in Japan on 29 March 2025. It is a Starter at ¥2,200: the stock combo is R4-55LO, and the box includes a winder launcher. Official copy is a CX Blade that splits into three pieces, paired with a low Ratchet and Bit to keep a stable spin — centrifugal force from the Blade shape, not a smash attacker. This is Wizard Arc, not Wizard Arrow (BX-03/BX-05) and not Wizard Rod (UX-03).
Reading R4-55LO
R is the Round Assist Blade: a circular, hollowed plastic ring under the Main Blade, whose official job is centrifugal force. 4-55 is four protrusions at 5.5 mm — shorter than the 60-height ratchets on most BX and UX launch tops. LO is Low Orb: an Orb-style stamina tip dropped lower. Put together: Wizard Lock Chip, Arc Main Blade, Round Assist, 4-55, Low Orb. Right-spin. That is a worked CX name, the second example after Dran Brave S6-60V. See the Assist Blades guide for what Round is doing versus Slash, Jaggy or Assault.
Why it launched next to Brave and Dark
CX-01 Dran Brave is the attack Starter, CX-03 Perseus Dark is the defence booster, CX-02 is the stamina/stability piece of that first CX wave. Players who keep the Arc Main Blade often experiment with the Assist letter first — Slash or Jaggy instead of Round changes underside contact without buying another Main Blade. Swapping 4-55 for a taller Ratchet undoes the “low ratchet and bit” pairing the official page is built around. Paint on the metal can wear; the Japan page says so.
Starter, not a deck
CX-02 includes a winder and one complete CX stack. It does not include a stadium. A later CX-00 Metal Coat Black Wizard Arc is a separate booster SKU, not this Starter. Hasbro may reverse the words (Arc Wizard); match CX-02 and R4-55LO. Replica “Wizard Arc style” listings are not Takara Tomy CX-02.
Event and mix notes
Play only in a Beyblade X stadium. CX CUP formats restrict you to CX Blade pieces — Wizard, Arc and Round are the kind of names on that list when they are current, but recheck the official table. In 3-on-3, Round cannot be repeated across three beys if the format bans repeated parts. For CX assembly order see the CX system guide; for the defence sibling see Perseus Dark.
Frequently asked questions
What combo comes with the Wizard Arc CX-02 Starter?
The stock combo is R4-55LO: the Wizard Lock Chip, Arc Main Blade, Round Assist Blade, a 4-55 Ratchet and the Low Orb Bit, spinning right. The Starter box includes a winder launcher and one complete CX stack, but no stadium.
What does R4-55LO mean?
R is the Round Assist Blade, a circular, hollowed plastic ring under the Main Blade whose official job is centrifugal force. 4-55 is four protrusions at 5.5 mm, shorter than the 60-height ratchets on most BX and UX launch tops, and LO is Low Orb, an Orb-style stamina tip dropped lower.
Is Wizard Arc an attack or stamina top?
It is the stamina and stability piece of the first CX wave, next to the CX-01 Dran Brave attack Starter and the CX-03 Perseus Dark defence booster. Official copy pairs a CX Blade that splits into three pieces with a low Ratchet and Bit to keep a stable spin through centrifugal force, not a smash attacker.
Can you tune Wizard Arc with other parts?
Yes. Players who keep the Arc Main Blade often experiment with the Assist letter first, since Slash or Jaggy instead of Round changes underside contact without buying another Main Blade. Swapping the 4-55 Ratchet for a taller one undoes the low ratchet and bit pairing the official page is built around.
