Beyblade X Perseus Dark Guide

Perseus Dark is product code CX-03, the defence booster of the Custom Line launch wave, released in Japan on 29 March 2025 at ¥1,600. The stock combo is B6-80W. There is no launcher in the box — same booster format as UX-03 Wizard Rod. Official copy is a CX three-piece Blade with shock absorption and counter performance, plus a Bit that is hard to tilt, meant to shut out attacks from any direction and wear the opponent’s stamina. Paint can wear; the Japan page says so.

Reading B6-80W

B is the Bumper Assist Blade: a thicker plastic ring than Slash or Jaggy, used on defence-leaning CX stacks. 6-80 is six protrusions at 8.0 mm — taller than Wizard Arc’s 4-55, so the Blade meets hits in a higher band. W is the Wedge Bit, a stamina/defence-leaning tip. Put together: Perseus Lock Chip, Dark Main Blade, Bumper Assist, 6-80 Ratchet, Wedge Bit. Right-spin. This completes the CX-01 / CX-02 / CX-03 launch set after Dran Brave and Wizard Arc.

Booster buying

CX-03 does not include a launcher or a stadium. Pair it with a Starter you already own, or with the starter vs booster split. CX-04 was the Battle Entry Set C that launched the same day; that is a different product with its own contents. A listing that only says “Perseus” or “Dark” is not enough — match CX-03 B6-80W.

How players rebuild it

The Dark Main Blade plus Bumper is the defence identity. Common experiments keep Bumper and change height, or swap Bumper for Heavy if you own CX-11 parts. We do not have a primary-source tournament result that ranks one Perseus Dark combo; treat community pairings as tests. Because this is a booster, the first thing to confirm is that you have a right-spin launcher that actually fits a CX hook.

Event notes

Play only in a Beyblade X stadium; not Burst-compatible. CX CUP restricts Blade pieces to CX parts — Perseus, Dark and Bumper belong on that kind of list when current, but recheck the official table.
