Firefly Mod Guide: Springs, Feed Systems & Shells
The Monkee Mods Firefly is an in-house shell-ejecting, pump-action shotgun-style blaster. It can remain a tube-fed shell platform, convert to detachable magazines or become a compact Stinger build. Choose the feed system first, because that decision determines which magazine, shell, barrel and body products belong together.
Stock performance / design: The fully assembled Firefly V2.5 has a 5kg spring installed and includes a 12kg spring, shells and short darts. The standard configuration feeds shells from the magazine tube.

Recommended mods & why
- For a reliable shell-fed build, start with the lifter/follower set. Add shells and a holder next; these improve feeding and reload flow before changing the spring.
- For more tube capacity, choose one barrel path. Use the extended barrel set for six total shells or the standard-barrel coupler for a +2 tube extension.
- For detachable magazines, use the complete conversion. The conversion kit and dedicated magazine replace the shell/tube workflow, so tube extensions and shell holders do not add capacity to that build.
- For a Stinger build, match all three pieces. Pair the standard or Slim kit with the Stinger buttstock and its corresponding compensator mag cap.
