Foam and gel blaster optics split into three practical categories: magnified scopes for long-range aiming, red dots for fast close-range acquisition, and iron sights as a lightweight, battery-free backup. This guide covers what's actually available from Monkee Mods in each category, since most blaster ranges don't come close to needing serious magnification — a scope here is mostly a build-quality and aesthetic choice.
Magnified scopes
| Product | Specs |
| T-Eagle EOX 1.2-6x24 IR | 1.2-6x variable magnification, 30mm tube, red and green illumination, ±80 MOA adjustment at 1/4 MOA per click, waterproof and shockproof with a 30mm ring mount included. |

Recommended approach & why
- Start with a red dot for most builds. Given the range most blasters actually shoot at, a fast-acquisition red dot earns its place more often than a magnified scope does.
- Add iron sights as a zero-maintenance backup. They need no battery and nothing to zero electronically, which makes them worth keeping on a build even alongside a primary optic.
- Only add magnification if you're genuinely reaching out to distance. A magnified scope on a short-range blaster is mostly a look, not a functional gain — decide honestly which one you're buying it for.
- Check availability before planning a build around any one item. Optics availability in this category shifts over time — confirm the exact product page before committing a build to it.
