Over-springing and skipping the seal

A springer is a pulse of air. A heavier spring only helps if the plunger, O-rings, breech and catch can take the load. Jam the strongest spring that physically compresses into a Worker Harrier, Worker Seagull, Firefly or ZWQ and you can crack a catch, mushroom a plunger rod, or leak so badly that chrono falls. Firefly publishes a 5 kg / 7 kg / 10 kg / 12 kg ladder; Harrier lists a 1.6 upgrade spring with matching barrel lengths. Those are pairs, not a dare. Seal first, then the spring the platform names, then chrono. A BCAR200 or BCAR300 is chosen by that measured number (about 8° / 200-class versus 18° / 300-class), not screwed on in hope.

Skipping the MOSFET when current rises

A MOSFET is a low-side solid-state switch. It keeps high motor current off the mechanical trigger contacts so they do not arc and pit. It does not add FPS. Stock current on a mild cage can live on a stock switch for a long time. Hotter motors, a higher cell-count pack, or long full-auto dumps raise current; the spark you cannot see is eating the contacts. The failure looks like a trigger that welds, drops out, or gets hot. Mixed dart lengths, no chrono, realistic paint

Full-length and half-length foam are different feed systems. A cage and pusher built for short darts will chew a full-length dart; the reverse usually will not chamber. Hasbro Pro half-dart magazines are not even all cross-compatible with each other. A Talon magwell on a Seagull, Harrier or XYL KM9 Unicorn is not the proprietary grip mag on a Hare Diana. One mixed magazine will jam, strip foam, and convince you the cage is “weak”.

Without a chrono you are guessing. There is no Malaysia-wide legal FPS and no universal safe number. The organiser’s sheet, test dart and method win. Mods that jump past the cap are not clever; they DQ you and raise impact. Chrono after every power change, with the dart the field uses.
