How to Tune Flywheels

Flywheel tuning changes a blaster's mechanical and electrical system. The correct wheels, cage, motors, darts, battery and service procedure depend on the exact platform; do not use a general guide as a parts list or performance target.

Check the Exact Configuration

Read the blaster and component documentation before changing anything. Confirm physical fit, intended use and the complete documented electrical configuration. Do not substitute a motor, battery, charger, wiring component or flywheel part from another build.

Safe Service and Testing

Disconnect power as instructed before service. Do not use damaged wiring, connectors or batteries, and do not bypass safety features. Test only in a controlled area with suitable eye protection and a safe backstop; follow the venue's current rules.

When to Stop

Stop work if a part does not fit cleanly, the blaster overheats, smells unusual or operates erratically. Use a qualified technician if the exact documentation does not cover the work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What flywheels should I use?

Only parts documented as compatible with the exact blaster and complete approved configuration.

Can I improve performance with a different battery?

Do not assume so. Use only the specified battery and charger or obtain qualified confirmation.
